Balancing CSR with Team buildingTo be able to make a long lasting contribution in the place that you are meeting, has definitely made Corporate Social Responsibility Team building the top team building activity for corporate companies in Singapore. However, ensuring a balance between Corporate Social Responsibility and Team building has always been a challenge for organisers. How do you achieve the charity element while ensuring team bonding amongst the team is enforced? Understanding this challenge, Grace at Work Teambuilding has taken the position of ensuring both our corporate clients and beneficiaries achieve their objective through our CSR team bonding programs. To achieve that balance, we always follow the key rule in our program creation. Only creating a program product that would genuinely help someone in need. One example of our success in achieving that balance is evident in our latest addition to our team building program list; Golf Gives Back CSR Teambuilding. The objective was to introduce amateur golf to the staff in our client's company and encourage a work life balance. The criteria was to minimise the waste of materials and maximise the budget to benefit a beneficiary. With these team building objective in mind, we set about to create Golf Gives Back CSR Teambuilding, which emphasize the use of grocery items for the creation of the golf courses. Participants find themselves as architects of mini golf courses, looking to create the formidable course to rule the day! With the completion of the courses, teams gather around to challenge their opponents courses through a friendly golf competition. Not only was the team building activity a great success in delivering team building objectives such as Communications, Leadership and Teamwork values. It was also able to generate the 6 months worth of grocery items to benefit the community at Ang Mo Kio Family Services! ~ Not All Heroes Wear Capes ~

Another way to keep the employees motivated is by organizing more CSR events and CSR programs so that every employee feels to be a part of the organization. This does light up the mood and also keeps them motivated as well. I will be using the same tactics in my corporate life.
